Notes on Delias lativitta :
This species is easily recognisable by the white upperside hindwing cell patch.
The females of the species are rare. Also the black Tibetan and Burmese ssp are not common in collection.
Some subspecies were unnecessarily described, such as Delias lativitta tai Yoshino 1999 which was later synonymized with ssp yunnana Talbot 1937 ("A taxonomic study of the genus Delias Hübner in China", Wei Zhong-Min, Wu Chun-Sheng, Acta Entomologica Sinica, February 2005, 48 (1): 107-118).
