Group Georgina
This is a group of medium-sized butterflies with a distinctive pattern. Many have only been raised to specific status in the last 40 years, having been considered subspecies of Delias georgina. The group is to be found mainly in the Philippines and Indonesia, with one species on the Malay Peninsular and Borneo and a new species discovered in Vietnam. The discovery of the Vietnamese species leads one to conjecture that further species/subspecies are still to be found on the S.E. Asian mainland.
