Notes on Delias taliabu :
A recent discovery from the tiny island of Taliabu where there is a high level of endemism. It has been described as a subspecies of Delias apatela in "Butterflies (Teinopalpus) 53: 31–32".
But we see enough differences, especially on males, to treat it as a full species.
Very rare in collection, as far as I know, only 1 male and 3 females have been found.
